Peace Camp is a yearly, week-long, half-day camp for children grades K-5.  West Side CC held its first Peace Camp in 2021 and has continued the fun each July.  Children experience a different theme each day:  Peace for Me, Peace for Us, Peace for Others, Peace for the Earth, and Peace for Everyone.  Topics include why someone might bully, self-management techniques for stress, and how to communicate better.  Field trips have included Brown vs Board and The Children's Discovery Center.  Let kindness be your superpower at Peace Camp!
